Summer Plans

How do you plan to spend your summer? My plans are between two houses as my daughter needs me to help at her house off and on this summer. At home you will probably find me reading in my swing and my Ella taking me for walks. I would send a picture but something is wrong with my camera and so I am waiting for Frank to take a look at it.
Anyway wherever I am I see a lot of summer reading. Not so much stitching at this point and I am thinking that at some point I will do some painting. I hear my oil paints and canvas calling me but currently I am still trying to catch up on rest and dog training. She is a good girl but energy doesn't begin to cover it.

What are your plans for the summer? Are you going to try new foods or recipes? Will you travel or garden? Maybe get a new pet or maybe it's all about your travels of the mind with new books?

Hugs,
Pam HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE GREAT DADS!!

  1. No real plans this summer - will see what it brings. I love summer and do hope to get outside more. I wish my neighbors were not so annoying so I could sit on my patio more often and chill. LOL

  2. I'll be working this summer, just not as many hours. We will go camping for a long weekend in July and I'll work in my yard and with my yarn. I expect on the really hot days I will be settled in on the couch in front of the fan with a good book.

  3. We only have one thing on the summer do list. ATTEND MY PARTNER'S GRADUATION CEREMONY.... When she got her Bsn. she was pregnant with our 4th child and it was the dead of winter. She got her Msn Ed. and this time she's going to walk the walk and wear the shawl. From there we'll be spending a week at Lake George, NY. We are true believers in the Lounge Chair Olympics, sitting and relaxing for a week with a stack of books, and for the first time, a Nook.

    That's our plan.

  4. No major plans...going to DC for one day and then chilling with a book and a few trips into the city for some pretend to be a tourist day.

  5. No real plans here. We will be hosting a get-together for a group of frined near the end of June. I hope to be able to spend many afternoons on the porch with my Kindle. In September I will be going on a cruise with my 2 sisters.
