Happy New Year from Pamela

HAPPY NEW YEAR: 2010

I never made New Year's Resolutions because I find I do not stick to them. What I do make is a goal list and this year here are my goals.
1. To read and review at least 25-50 books this year. If I go above this great but I have to at least read that many.
2. To write two books this year and send at least one of them off.
3. To spend more time with my friends (they sometimes get neglected) but in truth this will probably happen when the weather warms up and I can get out a bit more.
4. To complete three cross stitch projects and this means framed.
5. To interview at least twelve new authors this year for our blog.
6. To post more reviews on the books I read
7. To post at least two short stories for the blog
8. To buddy read at least four books this year
9. To paint my bathroom
10. To learn more new words
11. To return to reading Carolyn Hart's Death On Demand Series in July (in other words reread some of them in my birthday month)
12. To spend a little less time in front of the t.v. and more time reading
Okay tell us some of your 2010 goals? We want to know and I hope the new year bring peace, plenty of good reads and many many bloggers to our blog.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

  1. Sound like reasonable goals to me. I want to read at least 150 books (for me that is a minimum - I did 119 in 2009 when I barely read for months)

  2. I used to set higher reading goals and in fact I read sixty books in 2009 but I also know with going back to writing my own books that will cut down the reading time for me. So instead of stressing in my free time I will read more books and watch t.v. less. I am hoping this will even it out a bit better.
    Hugs,

  3. I think they are all good goals. Now I'm forced to sit down and list my own. LOL. I hope that you fulfill as many as you comfortably can in the New Year.

  4. It sounds like both of you have good goals planned. Now me, I was thinking:
    finish a quilt
    finish the LK Dream Sampler
watch one of my kids graduate from HS
    Start more cross stitches
write daily (even if I don't keep it... or don't publish it)
    Become more otganized. :)
