An Update from Pam

For everyone keeping track I am 17 days smoke free as of 8:59 Wednesday. Now on to more interesting topics like what is everyone having for Thanksgiving Dinner? Also what book hae you purchased lately and have you discovered any

New to you," authors lately? I've been spending my time cleaning for our November 20th Thanksgiving with Melissa, Chase, Aiden, Jay and Erin, Mishell, Shaun, Cassie, Hailey and Shaun Jr., Frank Jr. Heather, Caleb, Bree and Ty so we will have a house full on Saturday afternoon. Melissa and Jay's family will be spending the weekend.

Okay now on to books I have been reading some very good ones. ASKING FOR MURDER by Roberta Isleib is excellent, then I am reading MURDERERS PREFER BLONDES by Amanda Matetsky, and Aunt Dimity Down Under by Nancy Atherton.

I completed a Lizzie Kate Flip Itz called Christmas Cookies and it was easy and pretty quick to stitch last week.

I am very happy to see that Pysch and Burn Notice is back on the air gives me a nice lift during the week.

So what is on your Christmas Wish List this year?

Hugs,

Pam

  1. I am still not smoking either. I am reading more - right now reading Profiler by Pat Brown - who is not your typical profiler.

  2. Holy cow, you are all over the place. LOL. Um, I just bought Fundraising the Dead, hope to find time to read it soon. I making a very traditional Thanksgiving dinner - Turkey, sausage/apple/walnut stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli & cheese, and creamed peas & pearl onions. Probably apple pie for dessert (HAH! like we'll be eating that on Thanksgiving) because neither one of us is crazy about pumpkin pie. If we are having guests than I will make one up, but as it stands it just us for now.

Good for you on the not smoking. Keep up the good work.

My Christmas wish list doesn't vary much - books, yarn, and now, cross stitching stuff. LOL

  3. Congrats on staying smoke free.

Reading Kate Brady - she's new to me.

Didn't miss Pysch but very happy to have Burn Notice back.

Christmas wish list - books, as always

And Thanksgiving dinner - not sure. Having dinner with my dad and his new health-food conscious wife. Praying it's not tofu turkey.

  4. Pam congratulations on being smoke free

I am currently reading Dead Reckoning but can't remember the author.

Thanksgiving will be at my oldest sisters and it will probably be traditional.. All I know is I hjave to take a salad.

Christmas wish list is nothing. I really don't want anything. Oh wait I did find a cookbook I would like to have. I collect cookbooks.

Keep up the good work as far as smoking is concerned.

Books are on my Christmas list...mysteries!

I'm currently reading Fractured, by Karin Slaughter--not a cozy, but excellent.

Over the prairie and through the snow to Kansas for the holiday.
